Counseling Intern | Mental Performance Coach
Supervised by Adrienne Gonzalez, LPC-S
I believe that growth begins when people develop a better understanding of themselves and learn how to move forward with confidence and purpose. My approach to counseling and coaching is built around creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where people feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. I believe every person has strengths they can build upon, and I enjoy helping clients recognize those strengths while working through the challenges that may be holding them back.
My background in collegiate baseball and coaching has shaped my passion for helping others navigate pressure, build resilience, and develop confidence. While I have a particular interest in working with athletes, I also enjoy helping individuals navigate life’s transitions, overcome personal challenges, strengthen relationships, and pursue personal growth. My goal is to walk alongside each client as they discover their potential and take practical steps toward becoming the person they want to be.
Special Offerings
Individual Counseling
Providing a supportive space for individuals to explore challenges, develop a deeper understanding of themselves, and build practical tools for navigating life’s difficulties. My goal is to help clients recognize their strengths, work through obstacles, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Mental Performance Coaching
Helping athletes develop the mental skills needed to compete with confidence, respond to adversity, and perform at their best. Drawing from my experience as a collegiate baseball player and coach, I help athletes better understand their competitive personalities, recognize their strengths and weaknesses, and develop strategies to improve their mental approach to sports.
Youth Athlete Development
Working with young athletes to build confidence, resilience, self-awareness, and a healthy relationship with competition. Through individual work and team-based experiences, I help athletes learn how to respond to mistakes, manage pressure, communicate effectively, and approach challenges with purpose. My goal is to help athletes grow not only in their sport but also as individuals.
