Licensed Professional Counselor–Associate

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor–Associate with a background in mental performance coaching and youth athlete development. I completed a year-long internship in private practice before stepping away to help build and lead a mental performance program within a sports training facility. Through this work, I have had the opportunity to walk closely with athletes and families as they navigated pressure, anxiety, identity struggles, and performance-related stress.

My passion for counseling was shaped by my own personal journey in sports and faith. I learned early on that many struggles—both in athletics and in life—are rooted in the mind and heart. I also saw firsthand how unaddressed stress, fear, and misplaced identity can quietly build and impact relationships, confidence, and emotional well-being. My faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of both my life and my work, and it continues to ground and guide me daily. Through years of studying Scripture, I have come to see the Bible as a comprehensive guide for emotional health, discipline, renewal of thought, and resilience—principles that consistently align with psychological science.

In my counseling practice, I strive to create a space that is compassionate, honest, and growth-oriented. While I do not force faith or beliefs onto clients, I practice from a Christ-centered worldview and utilize counseling approaches that align with both biblical truth and evidence-based research. I believe true healing involves addressing not only symptoms, but also identity, purpose, and heart-level patterns that drive behavior.

I view therapy as an active process. Just as physical therapy requires effort, accountability, and change, counseling invites clients to recognize blind spots, develop new skills, and take ownership of their growth. My role is not to force change, but to walk alongside clients with patience, encouragement, and truth—celebrating small victories while guiding them toward lasting transformation. Ultimately, my goal is to help individuals build a stable foundation so they can move forward with confidence, clarity, and freedom.
